Through sheer determination, a keen mind and a stellar work ethic, Radhika Garg became the youngest ever COO of DBS Bank. She was the lynchpin of the organization and implemented several policies which augmented productivity while ensuring that corporate happiness was at an all-time high. 

 

Radhika graduated from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelors Degree in Communications and further went on to receive a Masters in Business Administration from the prestigious Yale University.

 

Her ascension of the corporate ladder was no easy one. She not only witnessed but faced prejudice and discriminatory attitudes which were ingrained into the very ethos of our culture due to her being a woman. The patriarchal mindset held by our society has held back many able proficient females, and she aims to create equality in the workplace. To generate and sustain such change, the way we educate future leaders of our nations must be re-evaluated and Ms Radhika aims to ensure that such change is long-term through reforms in the educational system.

 

Radhika has also championed several corporate social responsibilities and has formed fruitful relationships with the Singapore Association for the Deaf, Lions Home for the Elders and the Singapore Red Cross. While working in tandem with these NGOs, the issue of income disparity became extremely apparent. She wants to facilitate positive change and ensure that the less fortunate can receive remuneration that allows them to survive and provide for their families amidst rising living costs.
